Our story

It started with Vanilla.

We have lived in the Perkiomen Valley since 1998. This is where we raised our family, where Nina graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School, and where our pets became part of the rhythm of home.

For years, our black Lab, Vanilla, was right in the middle of everything.

And every time we traveled, the same scramble started. We had to work around kennel drop-off times. Pack the food. Watch the weather. Manage the pickup window. Worry about early flights, storms, delays, and whether we would get back before the kennel closed.

It was supposed to be vacation, but the logistics at home were still controlling everything.

Then we would bring Vanilla home, and for two or three days he just was not quite himself. Happy to see us, yes. But unsettled. Out of rhythm. A little off.

That stayed with us.

Because pets have routines. They have favorite places. Familiar smells. Their own beds. Their own windows. Their own yards. Their own way of knowing everything is okay.

We created the service we always wished existed when Vanilla was still with us.

Why we started this

Boarding solves one problem. Travel creates several.

A kennel can supervise a pet. But it does not bring in packages, water plants, check the temperature, or notice whether something looks wrong after a storm.

And asking a neighbor, friend, or teenager can feel awkward. Schedules change. People get busy. You may not get photos, notes, or confirmation that everything was done.

That is the gap we solve.

Nina grew up in the Perkiomen Valley and graduated from Perkiomen Valley High School. She helps lead the customer experience, pet routines, Meet & Greets, home-care checklists, and daily updates.

Nina understands that this is not just about completing a visit. It is about helping families feel calm while they are away.

Vanizia

Pet & Home Concierge

Vanizia brings steady, practical, family-centered care to the service. She understands how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s hands.

Her focus is simple: follow the plan, notice the details, and make sure the customer knows what happened at home.

Before the first booking, we complete a Meet & Greet so your pets, your home, and your instructions are understood before you leave.

We created this business because we lived the problem ourselves. Vanilla, our black Lab, taught us how much pets rely on home, routine, and familiar care.

We have lived in the Perkiomen Valley since 1998. This is where we raised our family, where Nina went to school, and where our pets were part of everyday life.

Our black Lab, Vanilla, was one of those dogs who made the house feel like home. He had his routine, his favorite spots, his people, and his way of knowing when something was going on.

But every time we traveled, especially for an early flight or an international trip, there was always a scramble.

We had to get Vanilla to the kennel the day before. Pack his food. Watch the weather. Work around kennel hours. Make sure traffic did not make us late. And then worry about whether we would get back in time to pick him up.

It was supposed to be a vacation, but a lot of the stress started before we even left.

And if there was a storm, a flight delay, or a schedule change, everything got harder.

When Vanilla came home, he was always happy to see us. But he also was not quite himself for a couple of days. His routine had changed. His surroundings had changed. He had to settle back in.
